The final version of the command dial (so far). Shown here are the running and stopped states. I'm especially happy with the diamond cut light ring, which took a lot to get just right.

After many versions, we thought we'd nailed it with this version. In the end we did make changes, but these basic forms informed everything that came after.

An intermediate version between the other two. There's too much wasted space, and the glass ring outside of the glass bubble is a bit busy, but I still like it.

Command Dial UI

This has been a long-running project. It's been touched by nearly every artist at work and keeps changing and being restarted. For the moment it seems that we've nailed it, but only time will tell. Regardless, this is a fun project to work on.
